OUGN2020 - POSTPONED

New Dates
Wednesday October 21 - Friday October 23

OUGN’s spring conference, the largest Oracle conference in the Nordics, have attendees and speakers from all over the world. Due to the latest news regarding the Corona virus, several other conferences have been postponed or canceled, and we have seen an increase in questions from companies attending OUGN2020. We have monitored the situation closely and see that more and more companies introduce travel restrictions. The uncertainty about the virus and how much it can spread is still high. We are because of this sorry to say that we will be postponing the OUGN2020 conference until 21-23. October 2020.

For those of you who already have a ticket for the conference 19-21. March your ticket will be valid for the conference in October. If you, by any chance, need a refund, please contact us at styret@ougn.no and we will make sure a refund is issued.

More information will follow here on 2020.ougn.no

If you are a speaker, there will be special information about how to act according to your sessions by the end of next week, latest by Friday March 13.

Thanks for understanding

Best regards,
the OUGN Board

CONFERENCE POSTPONED TO OCTOBER
Mail sent to speakers March 12th 2020

Dear speaker at OUGN2020

As you hopefully already know, we are postponing OUGN2020 until October 2020.
The new dates will be Wednesday Oct 21st till Friday Oct 23rd.

We really hope you can make it in October, as your presentation helps keep our program awesome.

Call for actions:
If you still want to help us making OUGN2020 a unique conference, you only need to reschedule flights and cancel hotel in Oslo, if booked. In August we will reach out to you again for the final confirmation.

Notice that we are sailing from Wednesday morning until Friday morning this time! Speakers dinner will be Tuesday 20th of Oct at the Asia Restaurant in Aker Brygge.

If you by any chance cannot make it, let us know by sending an email to c4p@ougn.no

Since this is an extraordinary situation, we will of course make a refund of the ticket for the conference if needed. On the other hand, we really hope you will join us in October.
For refund, send an email to styret@ougn.no with subject ‘OUGN2020 conference Oslo-Kiel refund’ before April 1st.

We will keep the speaker information up to date on this page https://2020.ougn.no/#speakers

"FAST TRACK" OPTION
In our c4p app https://c4p.ougn.no you have the option Fast Track. This applies to when we arrive back to Oslo on Saturday. If you are in a hurry, check this option and we will include you in our Fast Track service to get you off the boat, the fastest possible way! Return to the port of Oslo Saturday morning 21st at 10:00 AM. You should expect a travel time of at least one hour from the port to the airport. The actual amount of time varies based on changes in traffic, weather and other travel conditions.

LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
The fastest and reasonably priced way to get from the airport to the city is the airport express train Flytoget, taxi is 5x more expensive.
The station nearest to the Speaker's Dinner and the ship is called NATIONALTHEATRET, the station after the central station OSLO S. Note: Half of the trains have OSLO S central station as ending station. If you have to step off on OSLO S you could just wait for the next train or take a taxi just outside the central station.
